The third annual Arts by the River Festival is scheduled to return to the Riverfront Park on June 8th & 9th, featuring The Gear Daddies.
THE GEAR DADDIES TO PERFORM IN MANKATO ON JUNE 8TH!
The Gear Daddies originally got their start in the 1980s in Austin, Minnesota and have proven to be an important band of the Twin Cities’ music scene. The Gear Daddies have received national recognition for their unique sound and stage presence, which led to their opportunity to perform on Late Night with Letterman in 1991. The group’s single “Zamboni” has since been featured in D2: The Mighty Ducks, Mystery, Alaska, as well as on Malcolm in the Middle.
Now the Gear Daddies are only preforming in a few cities and one of them is here in Mankato. From live television appearances, to South by Southwest, the Gear Daddies are back to their usual ways of bringing what will surely be a memorable performance that their loyal fans can appreciate.
